I borked my blog.
Or, at least, there was a comments deletion issue that I couldn't seem to fix no matter how many times I backed up my entries and tried reinstalling the blog software. Which means a lot of entries have disappeared into the ether.
So, we start over, fresh, and with hope that I don't break it again!
In other news, I was given a wonderful spark of inspiration today by a man whose stories have entertained me for years. Terry Pratchett was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year, and has now donated a significant sum of money to fund research into the disease. He claims that he is already noticing the effects, but he is determined not to let it beat him, and he is going to write at least one book each year for as long as he is capable, even if he can't type the words himself. Now that's determination. I dedicate this first entry of the new blog to you, Terry, long may you stave off this disease and continue writing your amazing stories.
